Love Letters and Lace

Hi everyone! I wanted to do some kind of haul since I bought quite a lot of new makeup this month, so I figured I'd just do a monthly haul showing you everything I picked up this month! Let me know if you like these and maybe I'll make it a monthly thing! During the spring break, I made a little road trip to the US where I got to pick up some drugstore products that we don't have here in Canada, specifically Wet n' Wild and Milani. The CVS I went to didn't have the biggest selection, but I'm still really excited about the things I picked up! From Wet N' Wild I picked up the PhotoFocus Foundation , which I've heard great things about. I'm most excited about the highlighter I picked up in the shade 'Boozy Brunch' . I mean, how gorgeous does that look???  I also picked up two of the Liquid Catsuit Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Nudist Peach and Give Me Mocha. Have you ever gotten so frustrated with your current makeup or skincare situation that you frustratedly purchase a bunch of new products hoping to find something to make it all better? No? Just me? I was having the absolute worst time trying to deal with my skin lately. It's just been so incredibly dry and flaky, nothing in my current routine could fix it. My skin looks and feels terrible and my makeup looks just as bad. One of my New Years resolutions this year was to get more serious about my skincare routine. In the past I've always been the type of girl who only needed a cleanser and a moisturizer and I was good to go. Now that I've been paying more attention to what my skin needs and using products catered to those needs, my skin has never been better. I have very dry skin, and struggled with dullness and sensitivity for a while as well. I thought I'd share my current skincare routine because these products have changed the game for my skin. Cleansers:  When it comes to getting my skin clean, there are 2 products I'm loving. For removing my eye makeup, I use the L'Oreal Sublime Soft Gentle Micellar Solution . Hey everyone! I picked up the Becca "Glow on the Go" set the other day when I ordered some things from Sephora and I thought I'd show it to you all! So what this little set contains is 2 travel size versions of their Shimmering Skin Perfector in the shade 'Opal' in both liquid and pressed form. These products have been so raved about for SO long, but I never actually gave them a try. So I figured, what better way to give it a try than with a smaller size. Personally, I love picking up travel size products because they really are so much more convenient when I'm on the go.  Now when they say these are travel size, they mean it. They are SMALL. I was a little bit surprised at how small they were, especially the pressed powder because it seemed to be similar in size to a deluxe-sized sample.
