Can you believe it's already August? This summer just flew by and I feel so overwhelmed because August is going to be a super busy month for me, preparing for University in the Fall and such. I haven't tried out too much this past month but I think I have a pretty decent round up of favourites to share with you all! I liked to keep it simple with my makeup in July, doing a lot of one shadow all over the lid type looks, and I think it looked really nice (plus so much faster to achieve!) The first thing I've really been obsessing over is the Nip + Fab Soften Kale Fix Clay Mask . I've tried the whole line of their Kale products (review coming soon!), but this is the one product I'm so hooked on.  Another month has come to an end, which means it's time for my monthly favourites! I have  smaller bunch of products this month, but I love them all so much. Some of them are new to me and others are rediscovered old favourites.  First, I've really been loving my Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in the shade 'Donut' . It's the most perfect bright pink colour that looks so pretty in the summertime. I've really been reaching for this one a lot, especially since I've been keeping my eye looks a bit more neutral. I've also gotten a lot of use out of my Annabelle BB Compact Makeup , as I'm sure you can tell by the generous amount of pan I've hit on it. I use this powder to set my makeup. It adds an extra little bit of coverage, and darkens my foundation a little bit, which is good since the foundation I'm using right now is my winter shade, so a little too light.  Of course, I've been roped in by the hype surrounding the L'Oreal Voluminous

If there is one brand that I just cannot resist browsing (and ordering) from, it has to be Colourpop. A while back Colourpop was having free international shipping, which in other words means I couldn't help myself. Of course, I had to share everything I got because I'm SO excited! I picked up a little bit of everything, and I'm really happy with everything. One of the Super Shock Shadows I ordered came in damaged unfortunately, but thankfully the texture of the shadows makes it really easy to just press it nicely back into the pot. Not the prettiest, but still works just as well. Hi everyone! Long time no talk 😋😋 and happy June! I'm back from my brief exam and study hiatus, and now that I've officially graduated I'm so excited to have more time to be writing on here about my monthly favourites! There aren't too many, since I didn't really try out too many new things, but I rediscovered a lot of old loves within my collection that I ended up using all month long. Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in 'KathleenLights'  Every single time I wear this eyeshadow, I will guaranteed receive compliments on it. It is hands down the most beautiful true gold shade that is just so flattering on the eyelids. I'm so obsessed with it. Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in 'Prague'  It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Nyx's soft matte lip creams, so obviously I had to add to my collection. When it comes to seasonal makeup, my two favourites would have to be Spring and Autumn, As much as I love my vampy berry lips when the cooler months roll around, I love all the pretty colours I get to play around with in the spring time. This eyeshadow is so stunning on the eyes, you really have to try it to understand what I mean. I think I might have worn it every day for a week all over my lids with just a darker brown buffed into the crease. It's just so gorgeous. Colourpop's website describes this one as a "true rose gold" but it falls a bit more coppery on my skin tone I think. Its still such a pretty, satiny colour that looks even prettier when the light hits it. Definitely a must have if you're planning on ordering some shadows from Colourpop! xo

As promised, I'll be posting swatches of all the things I ordered from Colourpop all through this week. I had to post this one first though because, I mean, just look at it. Is that not the most gorgeous golden colour you've ever seen? I kind of just want to slather it all over my eyelids. It applies super pigmented (one swipe is all you need) and the colour is honestly breathtaking. I own a lot of bronze, gold and neutral colours, but I feel as though I don't have a straight up pure gold colour like this, so I'm very excited to try it!

 A couple of weeks ago, I made (believe it or not), my very first Colourpop order. I put off ordering from Colourpop since International shipping can be pretty pricey, but I couldn't put it off any longer so I finally decided to pick up some things.  I wanted to try a little bit of everything I've heard a lot of hype around, so I picked up some of the Super Shock shadows, a matte liquid lipstick and a lippie stick. (Of course, with my luck, their pressed single shadows were released 2 days after I placed this order... so you know what my next order is going to be!)  The shadows I picked up were Weenie, KathleenLights, Sequin and Eye Candy. The liquid lipstick is in the shade 'Instigator' and the lippie stick is in 'Topanga'.  I put off ordering these for far too long, so I am incredibly excited to try them out and see what the hype is all about.
