My Top 5 Favourite Lush Bath Bombs!!

After a long day, there's nothing quite like taking a warm, relaxing bath. So why not make it even nicer with a bath bomb? I've tried quite a few of Lush's bath bombs, so I thought I'd make a list of my Top 5 favourite ones!

In no particular order...

Sex Bomb
This was the first bath bomb of theirs that I ever tried and I'm still in love. It makes your bath water a gorgeous pink colour and leaves your skin super soft and silky smooth. It has a very floral scent (jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang) which I personally love (its not for everyone though, so do give it a smell and see if you like it!). Bonus: the scent lingers on your skin for a while after so you smell really great!!

Butterball
I literally buy one of these every time I go to Lush. Its not the most exciting of bath bombs, colour wise but its so amazing. It smells like vanilla (and anyone who knows me will know that I'm a total sucker for vanilla scented anything), but the main thing about this bath bomb is that it will leave your skin SO soft, its amazing. It basically has little chunks of cocoa butter inside which melt in your water and leave your skin so hydrated. My only wish is that it was a bit bigger, as it is one of the smaller bath bombs.

Twilight

This has to be one of the most relaxing bath bombs there is. It has a really nice lavender scent and leaves turns your bath water the prettiest colours (pinks and purples and blues!). It also softens your skin which is just another one of the many benefits of it. It does have glitter in it, which some people don't enjoy, but its a nice subtle glitter which makes your bath look like the night sky, sooo pretty! It also lasts forever in your tub!

Luxury Lush Pud
This is a seasonal bath bomb that only comes around during the holiday season but it is definitely one of my favourites. Its so so colourful and pretty in the water and smells lavender-y, somewhat like the Twilight bath bomb. This one is really fun to watch in the water as it is all sorts of colours. Definitely one to grab during the holidays.

So White
This is another one of the holiday bath bombs but its another one that I love so much. To me it smells like fresh apples and oranges. They're super huge and are such a fresh scent, it really makes me sad that they only come out during the holidays. Though they appear to be a plain, white bath bomb, they actually turn your bath water into the prettiest pale pink colour!

Have you tried any of Lush's bath bombs? Which were your favourites? Let me know! :)

The BEST and EASIEST Waffle Recipe! (Blogmas Day 9)

When it starts to get chilly out, I find myself making waffles pretty often. In fact, our Sunday breakfast usually consists of waffles of some kind. And in my house, I'm the designated waffle chef. I have the best recipe for waffles that are truly delicious AND any lazy chefs dream; its all done in one bowl, with ingredients everyone has in their kitchen. Literally foolproof and delicious. 1 Year of Covid-19: A reflection

It feels like just yesterday we were all feeling the anxiety and uncertainty of a new disease that was spreading quickly around the world that no one truly understood yet. We were facing the first wave of cases, the fear of going outside and being around people and the first round of quarantines and restrictions.  It feels like just yesterday, but also so long ago.  I, and I am sure many others, am feeling a mix of emotions.  Sad for the loss of comfort we once had. Grief for all the lives lost and permanently changed. Thankful for my health and that of my family. Gratitude for the scientists and frontline workers alike, working tirelessly behind the scenes I hope that one day we can return to a new normal. I hope that one day I'll be able to go to work and not feel  afraid  to get too close to my coworkers and patients. I hope that no one will ever again have to face the end of their lives all alone. I hope that no one has their life cut short because of an insidious virus that

Blogilates Beginner's Calendar 2.0: Review & Final Update

I've officially completed all 28 days of the Blogilates Beginner's Calendar and firstly, I have to say that I'm pretty damn proud of myself, because it was pretty difficult but I stuck with it until the end. And I had fun in the process! So, how much of a difference does this calendar really make? Does it work? Here are my final thoughts. This workout program really works, but you need to work at it too. If you're going to half ass the workouts, eat badly and skip days, you really won't see a huge difference. I really did my best to stick with it and work hard at it and I really have seen a difference. The thing about Blogilates that I enjoyed is that you won't just see a difference in your body, you'll see a difference in your mindset and motivation as well. Physically, since I began the calendar, I lost 10 pounds and I feel so much stronger than I was before. My muscles, especially my legs are so much more defined than they used to be. Cassey als
